Hint 1: Unlocks at 5 minutes. Select to view hint text
---- There is certainly a lot of text. Mostly you are trying to find a small string of words in each paragraph. How can you identify it? Did you scan the clue yet? ---- Hint 2: Unlocks at 10 minutes. Select to view hint text ---- Using each names first initial, you get FINDACRONYMS. This means for you to use the last name of the deceased as an acronym in their own obit. Their acronym will appear within a coffee ring. Like NOAH and "not out at home." There are 2 other types of things to find. How about you start highlighting all your findings? ---- Hint 3: Unlocks at 20 minutes. Select to view hint text ---- You will also write data in the 13 circles, one for each obit. You can confirm them using Clue Keeper. The dots under each obit will help. Also, you only have 12 ring intersections, with a number in each. What else do you only have 12 of? ---- Hint 4: Unlocks at 25 minutes. Select to view hint text: ---- The acronyms are crossword clues and the letter pattern of that solve is hinted by the dots following the obit. “Not out at home” is “safe.” “When it’s not over" is “under.” "Not adequate or sufficient " is "lacking." You should notice by now there are only 12 causes of death. ---- Hint 5: Unlocks at 40 minutes. Select to view hint text ---- Keep the solve word in the circle the clue was in. The causes of death "fit" in the intersections of the 2 crossword clues. So “under” and “safe” intersect at "Crushing.” “Lacking” and “sun” leads to a "Vitamin Deficiency". Resolve each intersection this way. ---- Hint 6: Unlocks at 50 minutes. Select to view hint text ---- The last step is to use the number in each intersection to index into each cause of death. Then the final solve should read down from top to bottom where number lands, or the order of the obits using the cause of death found in it. ---- |
